Aurzen zip pro Projector
Imagine carrying a projector small enough to fit into a bag and setting up a large-screen viewing experience wherever you go. The Aurzen ZIP Pro Projector is designed around this idea, combining a compact folding body with Full HD projection, wireless screen mirroring, and a built-in battery. Instead of requiring a permanent entertainment setup, it offers flexibility for travel, presentations, gaming, and casual movie nights.
Its biggest attraction is the combination of portability and improved picture quality. However, brightness, battery endurance, connectivity, and streaming compatibility are equally important when choosing a mini projector. Here is what makes the Aurzen ZIP Pro worth considering and what buyers should know before spending money on it.
A Unique Tri-Fold Design of Aurzen zip pro Projector
The most distinctive feature of the Aurzen ZIP Pro is its tri-fold construction. The projector folds into a compact form for transportation and opens into an adjustable structure when it is time to use it. This design helps users position the projection lens without needing a bulky stand.
Its small footprint makes it suitable for hotel rooms, bedrooms, temporary workspaces, and other locations where a television or conventional projector would be inconvenient. The adjustable structure also supports flexible positioning, although the projection surface and available space will influence the final setup.
The device weighs approximately 586 grams, making it heavier than the original Aurzen ZIP. That increase comes alongside upgraded hardware and a larger battery. While it remains portable, buyers should view it as a compact travel projector rather than an accessory that disappears into a pocket unnoticed.
Full HD Picture Quality and Brightness of Aurzen zip pro Projector
Image quality is one of the most significant upgrades. The ZIP Pro uses DLP projection technology and offers native 1920 × 1080 resolution. This means it can display Full HD content without relying on upscaling from a lower native resolution.
The projector is rated at 200 ANSI lumens, twice the brightness listed for the original ZIP. This improvement should help produce a more visible picture in controlled lighting, particularly for films, presentations, and videos.
Nevertheless, 200 ANSI lumens remains modest compared with larger home theatre projectors. Darkened rooms will generally deliver better results than brightly lit living spaces. Image size also matters: projecting a smaller picture can make the available brightness more effective.
The recommended viewing size is approximately 50 to 80 inches. This range offers a practical balance between portability and visibility for personal entertainment. Buyers expecting a bright, cinema-like image in daylight should consider a more powerful projector instead.
Autofocus and Flexible Viewing
Setting up a projector can become frustrating when the image looks blurry or distorted. The Aurzen ZIP Pro addresses this with zero-lag autofocus and four-point keystone correction. Autofocus helps sharpen the picture, while keystone adjustments correct the shape when the projector is not perfectly aligned with the screen.
These features make quick setup more convenient when moving between rooms or locations. However, automatic correction cannot compensate for every placement problem. Positioning the projector close to the centre of the projection surface generally produces better results.
The flexible folding design also makes it useful for different viewing arrangements, including temporary entertainment setups and small presentations.
Connectivity, Gaming and Audio
Wireless screen mirroring supports compatible devices through technologies including AirPlay, Miracast, DLNA, and Google Cast. This allows users to share supported content from smartphones, tablets, and computers without always connecting a physical cable.
The ZIP Pro also includes USB-C video input for compatible devices supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode. This can be useful when connecting supported laptops, handheld gaming devices, and phones directly. Compatibility depends on the connected device and its video-output capabilities.
A dedicated low-latency gaming mode is another improvement. Aurzen advertises response times of around 20 to 40 milliseconds when using supported USB-C video input and the appropriate mode. Bluetooth 5.4 supports compatible audio devices, while two built-in 2W speakers provide basic sound.
For streaming services with protected content, wireless mirroring may not always work as expected. Buyers should confirm compatibility with their preferred platforms and consider a supported wired connection or compatible streaming accessory when necessary.
Battery Life and Charging
The projector contains a 10,000mAh battery, with Aurzen advertising up to 2.5 hours of operation. Actual runtime varies according to brightness, audio volume, connectivity, and usage conditions.
USB-C Power Delivery charging supports charging at up to 65W with a compatible charger. This is a useful advantage for travellers who want to reduce downtime between viewing sessions.
Price and Availability
The Aurzen ZIP Pro price in India has appeared in online listings at approximately ₹54,999, but this should be treated as an indicative upcoming price rather than a confirmed official Indian retail price. Aurzen’s official international website lists the projector at $579.99, with prices and availability varying by market.
Before purchasing, verify the final selling price, warranty, included accessories, and local service arrangements. Import duties and retailer margins can also affect the amount Indian buyers ultimately pay.
